COVID-19 Disaster Recovery Employment Opportunities
Career Link is administering National Dislocated Worker Grant funds to help employers hire WIOA-eligible individuals as part-time, temporary disaster relief workers. Individuals who are unemployed or underemployed may be eligible for these positions. Career Link is seeking applicants for the following positions:
- East Bluff Community Center (Peoria) – Pandemic Health and Sanitation Specialist – $12.00;
- MarcFirst (Normal) – COVID Administrative Support – $13.00;
- MarcFirst (Normal) – Pandemic Relief Janitor – $11.00;
- Midwest Central School District 191 (Manito) – COVID Class Aides - $14.00;
- Peoria County Juvenile Detention Center (Peoria) – COVID Kitchen Assistant – $13.49;
- Stark County School District 100 (Toulon) – COVID Safety Custodian – $11.00; and
- YWCA McLean County (Normal) – Pandemic Assistant Teacher – $11.25.
